The Kentucky Agricultural Leadership Program (KALP) is building the next class of emerging leaders in agriculture and related fields.
KALP is a two-year, intensive leadership development experience designed for farmers and ag professionals who want to strengthen their leadership capacity and broaden their perspective. Class 15 participants will take part in eight in-state seminars, plus study seminars in Washington, D.C., another region of the United States, and an international destination.
The curriculum covers leadership styles, communication and civil discourse, values and goal setting, personality dynamics, public policy, and global markets and trade.
Class 15 begins in January 2026 and concludes in August 2027, when participants will join the network of 350+ alumni who serve agriculture in the Commonwealth.
